Lots of random photos from July...
Playing at the Phillips' house - Carson loves playing with Jake's old Legos!
Bribery following family pictures :)
These two beauties conspired with Ben to surprise me for dinner all the way from Columbus. They knew Jenna had just passed away and wanted to be there for me - I cried when I walked in and saw them sitting in the restaurant. We had a great evening chatting and catching up. They even brought me a teal bracelet in honor of Jenna. Love these friends dearly!
Walk to the mailbox with lots of help!
Jenna's funeral was on July 9, the day before she would have turned 31. Marissa and I spoke at her funeral. It was extremely difficult, but I am glad I was able to share my favorite memories about her.
Hudson's imagination has really been coming out recently. On this specific day I caught him setting up a farm,
Taking his animals to the vet,
and fixing the dishwasher. So sweet!
Kendra and her family were in town for a few days. The kids were putting on a show for us. It was such a flashback for me to the days Jenna, Kendra, Marissa and I would do the same for our parents!
New beach towels are a fun place to lounge - even indoors!
One night after bath he put every single pair of underwear in his drawer on. He could barely walk
they were so tight!
Riding the mower down the road - we use my uncle's mower and Ben drives it down from the farm.
Having fun with his birthday presents
Who needs a pool?
Carson has started really enjoying riding his bike. On this day he asked to ride it to get the mail. I had to help with lots of pushing on the uneven gravel. Was thankful to reach the pavement! I spy a cute little butt crack...
I met a bunch of my old co-workers halfway between for dinner. We had such a fun night catching up over Mexican food. Miss working with these ladies so so much!
Marissa needed help last minute with her girls - we had things planned for the day, so I decided to just take all 4 to do them. It was an adventurous trip to Aldi!
We hit up the splash park with friends for a few hours.
The same park also has a Kiddie City with pretend streets and buildings. The kids had run riding their bikes and toys through the city.
Watching daddy play softball
He went through a phase where he insisted on wearing underwear over his clothes :)
Our old friends who moved to Boston flew into the nearest airport, so we picked them up and had a date at Chick Fil A. Carson was so excited to see his buddy!
It was a full, fun July. We are loving summer!
