May Life

Carson always has legos in his hand.  From the minute he wakes up until he sets them on his dresser before going to sleep, chances are he has some sort of creation in his hand.

Whitney and I headed to Columbus for our volleyball team's Regional tournament to round out the year coaching.  We had fun shopping and spending the night in a nice hotel the evening before the tournament!

The tournament was at the convention center right across from North Market - so we ran over there during some of our down time.  I bought a few of our favorites to bring home!

Enjoying the warm sunny weather.  Nice to be wearing shorts for a change!

This child is crazy when he's awake...but he crashes and sleeps hard!  He looks like such an angel when he's sleeping :)

Planting seeds for the garden

The boys love to get out of their car seats when we get to our driveway.   Sticking their heads out of the sunroof is an added bonus!

So. Dirty.  All the time.  This day we needed a bath before nap time!

Fun cookout with friends.

The weeds gave me a run for my money early this Summer.  They were out of control because they grew free reign for the last 3 years.  Thankfully they slowed down after the initial few weeks!

We had a 60th birthday party for my dad with some of his family members.  It was a fun evening celebrating my dad!

We stopped for cookies and to visit my grandma one morning.  Hudson didn't like the loud semis going by on the road and kept going to my grandma for snuggles.  It was the cutest thing and my grandma loved it!

I wish I would have recorded their conversation.  They were all so animated!

Love coming back from runs to this greeting!

Birthday celebration at great grandmas

First night in his big boy bed!  He had been protesting his crib for a few weeks and crying any time we put him in there.  Since we switched to a bed, he has been much better about going to sleep.  Where'd my baby go?!

We had a few poppies come up and I told the boys that some day soon they would bloom into beautiful flowers.  Every day they wanted to go check on them.  The look on their faces were priceless when they turned the corner one day to find this gorgeous orange flower!

We went to Columbus to go to the zoo and stay with the Browns.  The boys got leftover cake pops from a birthday party and thought they were the greatest things ever!

We went to lunch at Easton with Tyler and Kristin before leaving.  We made a stop at the Lego store and this kid was in heaven!

Licking the jelly out of the container at Northstar - kid after my own heart.  That stuff is delicious!

He got this shirt for his birthday and asks to wear it every day.  If I say it's in the laundry, he tells me to "wash it mama".  This particular evening he asked to wear it after his bath :)

Fun visit from Emily and her kids, a friend from PT school.

The boys had fun playing and we had fun catching up for the day!

Picnic at the park after a run on the trail with aunt Whitney

Hudson always has great combinations when playing in grandma's dress up clothes!

Ben dug around this pipe to remove it, but is waiting to use a special wrench from my uncle to take it off of the underground tank.  In the meantime, it has become a favorite spot to play for the boys.

We visited my cousin Jen at work.  She works at a pharmacy and they have an old fashioned candy bar where you can sit and visit.  The boys thought it was fun to each buy their own candy!

When I need to buy myself a few minutes, we dump all the change out of the piggy bank and he goes to town putting it all back in!

Another trip to the zoo with our sunday school class to end out the month.  This time it was rainy and wet!
