Colorado Visit

Look out Colorado, these boys are coming for ya!

They love watching the planes at the airport.

Carson got a new little lego set for the plane and it kept him occupied for a good portion of the flight.

We made some friends with a family sitting in front of us who also had 2 young boys.  Their mom was super organized and had little presents for each of her boys to open every 30 minutes during the flight - things like fruit snacks, juice boxes, match box cars...things like that.  She also had printed off a picture of a train track and had little trains.  They let Hudson borrow it and he thought it was fun for about 2 minutes :)

Hudson took a nap and Carson moved on to the iPad.  He ordered orange pop from the flight attendant and was in heaven!

We made it! Evening stroll around the farm to check things out.

They had irrigation water almost the whole time we were there.  They've actually had it almost all summer, which is definitely not typical for them!  Lots of water this year.

Hot chocolate from the Keurig at the greenhouse - the boys always look forward to this and love to go help grandpa so they can have some!

Siphoning the water from the irrigation ditch into the field.

This tractor was out in the field and the boys had fun climbing on it.

Being lazy on the job!

Carson was thrilled when Josh asked if he wanted to go do a little work with him!

Kass and I went to Pueblo and had a fun afternoon/evening getting our nails done, doing a little shopping, eating dinner and getting coffee for the drive home.  Love this girl!

Carson kept picking mustard weed for grandma - she had quite the bouquet by the end of the week! :)

The boys love to dig in the dirt with all of the old trucks and diggers.

The crop duster was out one afternoon and the boys were infatuated.  They loved to wave when he came close.

One morning Ben and I went out to Kerry's family's ranch to help with branding.  More like Ben helped and I watched and helped with food a little... :)

It was fun to see the operation.  There were guys on horses getting them into the corrals and then they would lead each one here where they would get their vaccines.

Ben was the poker to get them into the pen.

I didn't get any pictures of the actual branding, but that happened after they gave the older cows their vaccines.

Grandma's homemade bread.  The best!

We got to meet baby Adrienne, Jake and Kerry's new daughter.  She was so precious!

It wouldn't be a trip to grandma's without making donuts!

Hudson's birthday was the week after we went home, so Carol made a cake and we had a little celebration for him.

We took a day trip to the Pueblo zoo.

Elisa and her daughter met us there!  It was so fun to see her and catch up a little.

Hudson got a buzz cut from Andrew :)

We had a great week!  It's always sad to say goodbye.  Looking forward to our next visit!
