We came home from Colorado and straight to Columbus to celebrate Tyler and Kristin's engagement! Her parents threw a fun party for their family and friends. Some of the bridesmaids and the mothers went to a bridal show with Kristin earlier in the day. It was fun walking around and seeing the latest trends in weddings and tasting all of the cake samples :) Kristin and I wearing our matching scarves!
Snowy roads...not so fun when driving for work. Once Christmas is over I'm officially ready for spring!
Working on counting
Oh this sweet child of mine. He is rotten! I don't know where he finds the things he does, but if I haven't properly child proofed something, he lets me know it! This was the first time he took a marker to something.
Late Christmas celebration with the Kempf family. It's blurry because they were both so excited to open those presents!
Visit from friends from Columbus = baby snuggling all day!
Like I said...trouble.
Oh you know, just another trip to target! Jenna and I took all 4 boys to get out of the house on a snowy day. My children were on exceptionally good behavior that morning!
Those cheeks!
Enjoying their Christmas presents.
Bedtime books in the fort.
We met Ben for lunch one day - Carson was pretty into eating his spaghetti without sauce. AKA noodles!!
We had a fun evening with the Phillips family making homemade pizza. Carson thought it was so fun he got to make his own!
The kids were watching a movie after dinner and Hudson fell asleep with Jake. The Phillips kids are so amazing with our boys!
He strikes again...
We told Carson he could look at books after we left his room at bedtime. He was quiet, so we just figured he went to sleep. Two hours later when we went to bed we found him like this. Whoops!
Oh Hudson...
Whitney and I coached a JO volleyball team and our practices started in January. Our team is so much fun! I forgot how much drama surrounds middle school girls, but we are having a blast :)
We had a book from the library where they made monkey pops. In the back of the book there was a recipe for them so we made them one morning. Messy but the boys loved them!
What it really looks like to go sledding with a 1.5 year old! He did not like all of the layers one bit. Poor kid could barely keep his balance to walk!
The only time Hudson wasn't crying was when he was sitting on the sled. He liked that part!
Carson loved it and stayed outside for quite awhile after Whitney took Hudson back inside.
Rosy cheeks and hot cocoa to warm up! With extra marshmallows :)
How we really felt about our morning sledding...felt like we had our workout for the day!
He kept saying he was hungry and couldn't fall asleep, so we popped some popcorn at 10 and had a little bedtime snack :) He was in heaven!
He loves to climb in Hudson's crib when he hears him wake up. Hudson giggles and thinks it's the best thing ever!
Tax season is officially underway. Brian and Ben are good about bringing work home so they can see their kids in the evening. They work from home after the kids are in bed - which is a nice time for Jenna and I to sneak away to Starbucks! We enjoyed a few of these evenings during tax season. Was a nice break during the long weeks. We caught up on blogging, drank coffee, and chatted - was so fun!
Homemade pizza night 2 with the Kempfs
