I ran in a 5k November 1st to raise money for leukemia research. With a best friend fighting her own battle with cancer, I knew this was a cause I wanted to support. It was also good timing for a race with only 2 weeks to go until half marathon time.
They had a kids run and Carson was so excited to run in it.

It was freezing - note all the layers. After a mild week, weather on race day was below freezing!
Carson is in the lower right corner. He was running the race with Mason, but as soon as they said go, Mason took off and Carson lost him in the sea of kids. He just ran looking around and crying for Mason - poor kid! He did finally make it to the finish line, but he was less than happy!
The race went well. Glad to be doing this training thing with these two! Makes it so much more fun.
