Hocking Hills

We spent two nights in Hocking Hills in September with the Theiss and Beachy families.  We had a blast!  Bethany is party planner extraordinaire and found us the perfect cabin for the weekend.  It was tight, but it worked and it was affordable!  We got there on Friday evening and Bethany had dinner ready for us.  We split meals for the weekend and all brought groceries for our assigned meals.  It worked well!

Raina brought her famous chocolate chip whoopie pies.  So delicious.  There were 2 dozen when the weekend started.  Take note.

After the kids were in bed we played games.  I hadn't laughed so hard in a long time!

Saturday morning after breakfast we headed out to do some hiking.  Carson insisted on bringing his sword.  Safety first!

Raina and Bethany were (obviously) very pregnant but you would have never known - they hiked as much as the rest of us and we had fun!

Checking out Old Man's Cave

Can't believe next time we do this there will be SIX kids!

The cabin had a hot tub and the guys and the kids took advantage.

While Raina and Bethany were resting I set up a little baby shower for them since I couldn't make it to their showers in Columbus.  I was so disappointed to miss them but this was a fun little substitute :)

I brought cupcakes from a bakery in Columbus that we stopped at on the way down.  They were so yummy and we had no problem devouring them pretty quickly!

Packing up to leave Sunday morning and this was all that was left.  We ate so many whoopie pies!  I'm pretty sure these were all consumed at lunch too.

We packed up the cabin and went to do a little more hiking in the caves before eating a picnic lunch.

Due one week apart :)

We had such a fun weekend with beautiful weather!  Can't wait to do it again soon.  Miss these friends so much!
