Here's what Hudson is up to at 6 months:
-Sitting independently and getting up onto all fours when he's on his tummy. No crawling yet, just lots of rolling and scooting.
-He puts everything straight to his mouth. His big brother had his first tooth at this point, but so far none for Hudson.
-He is no longer swaddled at night and usually flips to his belly soon after being put down to sleep. He sleeps around 7-8 hours a night, although there are still some nights where we see the hours on the clock far too often.
-We gave him rice cereal the week before he turned 6 months. He loved it and giggles as the spoon is being brought towards him. When it gets near his mouth, he grabs it with both hands and pulls it into his mouth. Messy eater! He has also had squash - most of that came back out.
-He doesn't hate his carseat quite as much now that he can be entertained by toys.
-He wears some 3-6 month and some 6-12 month clothing and size 3 diapers.
-He weighs 18 lbs. 10 oz. (75th percentile) and is 26 3/4" long (50th percentile). Carson was over 22 pounds at 6 months, so he's not quite keeping up! :)
I love watching Hudson and Carson's relationship continue to develop. I can't wait for the day where they are running around playing with each other!
40! Let's not rush anything serious... :) Happy 6 months, Hudson!
