First Three Weeks of Life

This is a marathon blogging day!  I needed to play catch-up majorly, plus a certain grandma out in Colorado requested a few more pictures :)  This is for you, Carol!  Thanks for giving me motivation to get caught up.  Things here are going well - not perfect by any means, but well.  Carson is adjusting and although he has been absolutely awesome with Hudson, he has been increasingly ornery (i.e. dumping the dog's water bowl for no reason and acting hyper at all times).  Hudson is eating and sleeping well and is happy and healthy - we can't complain!  These are a bunch of pictures from the past two weeks.

Carson wanted to play in the crawl space.  It was one of those days - so I pulled up a folding chair and fed Hudson while he played away :)

Meeting great grandma Wengerd

Jenna and Geoff stopped at my parents for an afternoon - so good to see them and catch up!

Carson found these roller skates in my parent's basement.  I remember playing with these when I was a kid!

Aunt Catie gave us all of Drew's old clothes.  Carson "helped" me sort through them, and insisted that he put on this outfit.  Surprise, surprise :)

haha

Strawberry picking - yum!

One bucket made three batches of jam and delicious topping for strawberry shortcake - not bad!

First trip out just me and the two boys - I was nervous!  I told Ben this arrangement is good for our budget.  It was hard to fit anything in the cart!

After a few errands we met Ben for lunch.

Fun in the sun

  1. So nice to see your blog updated! And so fun to see what your life is like with two boys. So many pictures to comment on, but I do love the Elmo shirt and Thomas shorts. Aren't hand-me-downs wonderful?!

  2. This kid has done a lot in 3 weeks! Looks like fun :) It also looks like grocery shopping is definitely going to be a struggle
