On Friday, Whitney and my dad came down for a visit. It was also our 5th wedding anniversary, so after we all ate dinner together Ben and I ran to Target on a "date" while they babysat Carson. We were gone all of 60 minutes - we couldn't stand to be away from our little man much longer! :)

On Saturday the Springers came for a visit. We had a great weekend with them! Baby Lauren is just 8 weeks older than Carson, so we had fun taking lots of pictures of them. Drew got right in on the action too and was so sweet with the babies :) He gave lots of wet kisses! It will definitely be fun having cousins so close in age.

Matching blankets
We had Carson's newborn pictures taken on Sunday. He was ornery - normally he sleeps and sleeps and sleeps without so much as a peep. But he wasn't having the posing during the photo shoot! He was awake for most of it and fussed whenever we tried to move him. We won't get the pictures back for a week or two - I'm just hoping she got a few good ones! Of course after the photographer left Carson was happy as a clam :) So we posed him for fun and took a few pictures of our own.

Love all the pictures! What a fun family-filled weekend! And, the blankets are so cute! I am sure the photographer was able to get some wonderful pictures for you! A good memory though, isn't it! :)
