At Carson's one month appointment last week, we of course were nervous/anxious to be sure he was getting enough to eat and gaining weight. Ben and I made bets on how much he would weigh - I said 10 lbs 4 oz and Ben said 10 lbs 8 oz. Off to the scale we went at the pediatricians office...
And Carson weighed a whopping 11 lbs 4 oz! I don't think we need to be too concerned about his weight gain. :) The doctor said he might be going for the record in number of ounces gained per day. He is in the 90th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for length at 22 inches.
Every day it seems like he gets even bigger. He is already growing out of size one diapers and his 0-3 month clothing is none too large anymore!
He also got a shot at the appointment - only cried for a second.
That night we also transitioned Carson into his crib. I think it was harder on his mama than it was on him! He isn't sleeping quite as well, but we're hopeful he will soon be back to his sleeping ways. :)
That picture of Ben and Carson shows just how much they look alike!! I'm excited to see Carson in his crib :) So sad that he won't be sleeping right next to you anymore!
ReplyDeleteCarson proves to look just like his daddy in that first picture with the blue shirt. Seriously! Big boy - so nice you don't have to worry about weight gain. It's always good when they grow! :)
