7 months

 

We have a 7 month old!  Hudson brings so much joy to our lives and we can't even remember what life was like before him.  Here's what he's up to at 7 months old:

• Getting better at eating table food, but still not all that interested
• Takes three naps during the day, ranging from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.  Is still waking up once or twice a night and thinks he needs to eat every time (big surprise there).  Loves to be held and sometimes struggles to sleep when he's not being cuddled.
• Absolutely adores his big brother and follows him everywhere.  Hudson is more mobile and tries to "play" with Carson's toys which sometimes frustrates his big brother!
• Loves bath time and crawls as fast as he can into the bathroom when he hears the water start running.  Takes a bath with Carson loves sitting up in the tub and grabbing all of the toys.
• Wears 6-12 month clothing and size 3 diapers
• He officially started crawling on Thanksgiving weekend and hasn't looked back.  He started pulling himself to a standing position a few days later.
• He goes straight for the dog's water bowl or the Christmas tree lights when he is put down on the floor downstairs.  It's amazing how he remembers that those are off limits and he makes a beeline for them!
• He has started reaching out for people when they go to pick him up.
• Still spits up lots after eating - we are looking forward to the day when this is a thing of the past.  We always smell like spit up :)
