Jenna, Kendra, Marissa and I met up in Morgantown, West Virginia for our annual girls weekend. Usually we end up at one of our houses, but this time we met in the middle and enjoyed a weekend just us - no husbands, no kids, no pets, and no distractions! It was wonderful and we had a blast. As always, there was lots of giggling, shopping, eating, staying up late, did I mention giggling?! I love these girls and am so blessed by them. I don't know too many friendships that are still going this strong after this many years. We've all been friends (and sisters!) since birth and I think that's what makes our friendship so special. With all that Jenna has gone through over the past year, it has made me even more appreciative of the bond that we have and that I never want to take it for granted. I love you girls so much!

Marissa opted for a manicure - she HATES pedicures. Too ticklish!
Long story - but I (32 weeks preggo!) wore these "sandals" ALL day on Saturday. By the end of the day my feet and legs were so sore! It made for some good laughs that's for sure.
Shopping - I think they both bought these!
Marissa realllly wanted to buy these, but we talked her out of it.

Anyone who knows Jenna and who knows me know that we love sweets and especially all sweets involving lots of frosting. We were naturally excited about the discovery of mega stuf Oreos and were sure to pick some up at Target!

We stayed up late talking and were looking forward to sleeping in the next morning. The time was changing but we weren't worried - we had nothing to get up for! However, we were woken at 6:10am to the loudest sound I've ever heard - the fire alarm going off in the hotel and in our room. So much for sleeping in! We all had to evacuate. Luckily we were allowed back in after a few minutes and we all fell asleep for a little while longer.

ReplyDeleteSuch a fun weekend! Did you really take a pic of the hotel alarm clock when the fire alarm went off? Whit, those shoes were sooo comfortable! That's why I was sitting cause I couldn't even walk!
