Can't believe Hudson is one month old already! Time feels like it is going even faster than it did with Carson, probably because we are busy chasing him around as well and can't focus all of our undivided attention on Hudson. Here's a snapshot of Hudson at one month:
He weighs 11lbs 1oz (He was 3 oz less than Carson at birth, and now 3 oz less than Carson was at one month) and is 22 inches long. 75th percentile for both!
He sleeps a 5-7 hour stretch at night. I sure hope I'm not jinxing myself by typing that.
He loves to be held, which I'm assuming is because he was hardly ever put down the first two weeks of his life :) I don't mind though; it forces me to slow down and enjoy time holding him.
He has rolled over from belly to back twice - probably just a fluke because he doesn't enjoy tummy time much.
He is gaining more and more head control and pops his head up pretty well when on his tummy.
He wears size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothing.
He had two blocked tear ducts but as of this week it is down to one! We are crossing our fingers that the other one opens without needing the procedure like Carson had done.
His most alert time of the day is early evening. He looks around with wide eyes - he especially likes to find big brother Carson with his eyes and watch what he is doing.
Another side note that isn't really about Hudson turning one month...Carson gets really concerned and stressed out when Hudson cries. As soon as Hudson cries, Carson responds with, "No, No! No crying Hudson!" and then begins to almost cry himself. We are working on him trying to help quiet Hudson rather than yelling at him and adding to the chaos of the situation :)
Happy one month little man! We love you so much!
