Froese Family Happenings: One Year Old!

I know it's completely cliche, but it's so true - where did the last year go?! It has been such a blessing to be this guy's mama. There's never a dull moment and it's so fun to watch him grow and learn and discover new things. Here's a snapshot of Carson at one year:

Weighs 26 lbs 13 oz (90th percentile) and is 31 inches tall (90th percentile)
Wears 12-18 month clothing and size 4 diapers
Has huge feet! Already outgrowing a size 6.
LOVES to dance. If he hears music or a beat of any kind, he stops to break it down :)
He loves to be outside and runs straight for his car to be pushed in - he already knows how to throw a tantrum if he doesn't get taken for a ride!
He is starting to go pick out books and he brings them to you then climbs up on your lap - but his attention span is short
Loves to eat. And eat more. He figured out how to open the pantry door and brings a new snack out seriously every 10 minutes if not more. He brings it to you and bounces up and down while signing please. It's hard to say no to! I've learned to fill the bottom shelf with healthy choices :) His favorite food still seems to be bananas.
He is best buds with Ella. He lays his head down on her when he's tired and tries to ride her like a horse when he's playing. Poor Ella is going to be so fat she follows him around and eats all of the food that he drops (and also feeds her on purpose!).
His favorite things to get into are the kitchen drawers and the front cupboard. He loves to pull out all of the keys and carry them around. Last week we found a set in the toilet and this week Ben is missing his keys for work - we've yet to find his hiding place!
He loves to rough house and be tickled
He is starting to imitate things - he tries to reach up to put the keys in the door
He babbles all the time but doesn't make out any words yet other than dada, mama, and sometimes we are convinced he says Ella
He has become pretty attached to his stuffed monkey and still uses his pacifier to sleep
