Trip to Colorado

We spent all of last week in Colorado visiting Ben's family.  His sister and her kids flew out at the same time and we had a blast all being together!  Brace yourselves, there's a lot of pictures in this post.  There were too many I loved!

Carson did awesome on his first flight.  He slept the entire way there, and on the flight home he woke up to eat once and went right back to sleep.  He even got his first pair of wings :)

We met Andrew in Rocky Ford for lunch one day - we ate Mexican food and mine was HOT!

We spent a lot of time with the Martin clan because DeeDee was home with her kids.  Here we are walking up the road to their house.  Carson and Lauren were often found in Grandma and Grandpa's arms!

We held a little photoshoot of the cousins before church on Sunday.  They posed for about 5 minutes then toppled over. :)

We surprised DeeDee and Catie with a little party for their 30th birthdays.  Angie was home for the occasion!

We decided to see how much the babies weighed because Carson looked like he was giving Lauren a run for her money.  Taylor got in on the fun!

That's what we thought - Carson weighs more and he's 8 weeks younger.  I hope he slows down soon or he's going to be huge!

Lauren started laughing while we were out there - it was so cute to hear!

Drew and Josh played in the dirt together just about every day.  I'm not sure which of them had more fun!

We did a lot of watermelon tasting.  They are spoiled - they take one bite and if it's not perfect, they move on to the next one.  If we buy one here and it's not very good, we eat every last bite because they're so expensive!  We ate all the melon we wanted and it was delicious.

Lauren loves to suck and will put anything she can get her hands on into her mouth.  Here Carson was waving his hand in her face so she decided to taste it. :)

We took a train ride through the canyons - it was beautiful.  Here's a bunch of pictures from the trip.

A beautiful Colorado sunset.

On Friday morning we had a photographer come out and take family pictures.  We snapped one ourselves before she got there.  Can't wait to see how they turn out!

We dressed Carson up and took pictures in front of all of the pumpkins. Happy fall!

With uncle Jake.

Future businessmen/women for Colorado Seeds :)

We ended the trip with a hike at Kerry's ranch.  I'd never been to that part of Southeastern Colorado - it was beautiful!

I love this picture.

We had such a fun week!  Can't wait to get out there again soon.
