First Days at Home

I can hardly believe that a week ago we were mentally preparing to head into the hospital, and today Carson is already 6 days old!  It's been a good week.  My mom has been here all week helping out and I think we're finally getting into somewhat of a routine.  Carson is such a good baby and hardly ever cries, mostly just in the middle of the night when he gets a diaper change. :)  He sleeps and sleeps and sleeps, then has an hour or two of alert time in the evening where he opens his eyes and looks around.

Ella's first time meeting Carson - she has been awesome with him.  She gave him a good sniff and after that has pretty much been uninterested in him.  Every once in awhile when someone new starts holding him, she goes and puts her head in their lap to make sure they don't forget about her. :)

First bath - he didn't like it so much.  He cried and cried but then was immediately content when he was wrapped in his towel.

He loves to pick his head up like this when he's laying on your chest.

Naptime!

This little girl is 6 months old - before Carson was born she was the littlest one in our group of friends from church.  Carson makes her look like a giant!  It's hard to believe how much he will change over the next couple of months.
